Preventive maintenance of machines
Preventive maintenance on machines aims to reduce the downtime resulting from failures during production processes, decrease energy consumption of equipment, increase their productivity and lifespan, among other purposes, which can only be achieved through proper maintenance.
For the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), this maintenance can be defined as "the combination of technical and administrative initiatives, including supervision, with the aim of maintaining or restoring an item to a state in which it can perform the required function.
"It is recommended to perform general preventive maintenance once per year to prevent malfunctioning.
Corrective Maintenance of Machines
Corrective maintenance is the action taken to correct a failure or performance that is lower than expected. It is performed to overcome faults or damages identified during the preventive maintenance period. Generally, corrective maintenance is not a scheduled maintenance activity because it is carried out after a component is damaged and aims to restore the reliability of a component or system to its original state.
Resistance Maintenance
Accessory maintenance is a powerful tool to ensure continuous equipment operation. All resistances must undergo visual inspection and electrical testing, assessing current and resistance.
Tecnotrat offers a complete line of electric resistances with a wide range of dimensions, shapes, and power ratings. During technical evaluation, if it is found that the ceramic beads are deteriorating over time, exposing the resistance wire, or if the resistance wire is broken, corrective maintenance should be applied.
This process ensures a reduction in costs resulting from failures during production processes.
Cable maintenance
Corrective maintenance on cables is performed when deterioration or damage occurs to the cables and accessories, necessitating their replacement to ensure equipment integrity. At Tecnotrat, corrective maintenance on cables restores their functionality and operational capacity.
TAU maintenance
Corrective maintenance on the TAU equipment is performed to ensure the perfect operation of the magnet, clamp connection, and external wiring. We conduct a comprehensive evaluation to ensure that the capacitive discharge of the TAU meets the performance requirements for installing the thermocouple.
calibration
The objective is to ensure the accuracy of the measurement instruments used in the process, thereby making the final results efficient according to dimensional standards. At Tecnotrat, we comply with national and international metrology standards, ensuring RBC (Brazilian Calibration Network) calibrations and traceable standards to API norms, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.
